We at the
Ramada of Alpine wish to thank Mark Hannan and Nectar Computers for their
professionalism and technical expertise. When it came time to upgrade some of
our computer systems at the Ramada we went looking for a local company to help
us upgrade our computers and we found Nectar.
Mark was instrumental in building and setting up the computers that are required

After being
without a full time IT person for nearly 3 years we were in desperate need of
assistance. Mark was referred to us by one of our local contractors and has
been a valued asset since his first visit. Mark began with a few visits based
on our individual needs and then agreed to commit to one day per week to help us

time. Since the computer was already several years old, we opted to have

I bought a new computer from one of the well
known companies. From the very
beginning I had trouble. I would spend hours on the phone, being shuffled
from
one representative to another, or left on hold for great lengths of time. I
was told
the trouble was with the programs, or the Internet devices, or the printer
(which I
had bought from them at the same time I bought the computer). This
continued
off and on until my warranty expired. Finally the computer crashed. Mark
Hannan
was able to fix the computer. He let me know ahead of time what the options
and
charges would be. I only wish that we had bought a computer from Nectar
Computers

To tell you the truth, I’m not
sure where to begin, but I can start by saying we would not be
doing
what we are doing for the Marathon Motel, as well as the town of Marathon Texas
if it
were not
for Mark Hannan and Nectar Computers! Not only did Mark build and maintain the

for the Motel, but when the opportunity afforded itself to “stream” our little
Community
Free
radio station, “Basin Radio”
www.basinradio.net on the internet, Mark built, and set up the
appropriate
system for the job. Now, Basin Radio can be enjoyed anywhere in the world,
helping promote our little
community as well as keeping the connection for our past visitors alive.
In
addition, Mark built the
computer that runs the only Community Access cable channel, “Cable
Channel 6”
which provides
the focal point for community announcements, notices and advertising.
